Biography
Eric Errion is a self-taught musician and songwriter who is fluent on a half-dozen musical instruments. Born in the 60’s and influenced by 70’s artists such as Elton John, the Ojays, Hall & Oates, and the Bee Gees, Eric first began playing drums at age seven while listening to the music of these popular groups on the radio. By 1980 Eric began playing keyboards and was strongly influenced by a new artist immerging from the Minneapolis music scene named Prince. By the late 80’s Eric was playing keyboards in a local band and at the request of the band’s guitarist, began playing rhythm guitar on songs that lacked keyboards. In the early 90’s original songwriting had begun and after the new millennium in 2000 an audience for Eric Errion’s music was immerging. Working in conjunction with one of the nation’s oldest theaters- Peoria Players Theatre in the heart of the country, Eric Errion began writing songs for some of the nation’s brightest and most talented vocal performers.
